1. Natural light always improves instagram snaps

You want lots of light! Natural is always best where possible, and try to eliminate any harsh shadows created by anything in the way.

2. Bigger on camera

Food always looks bigger on camera so go for smaller bowls, cups and spoons.

3. Sparkling water to make your instagram images ‘pop!’

A small glass of sparkling water with a slice of lemon inside adds interest to the snap.

4. Use Props, Colours and Patterns to add interest

Using a variety of textures, colours and patterns via different backgrounds, plates, cutlery, etc. will make the world of difference to your instagram feed

5. Act fast & snap quick!

Fresh food can wilt or go dull quickly and it doesn’t look so appealing after sitting out for too long. So snap away as soon as possible to get the best shot!.
